Return & Refund Policy

Northern ReLoved is an online second-hand marketplace. Because of the nature of resale items, our return and refund policies differ from those of traditional retail stores. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. All Items Sold “As-Is”

All items sold by Northern ReLoved are second-hand and sold as-is.

This means:

  • Items may show normal signs of wear
  • Sizing, colour, and condition may vary between brands and eras
  • Minor imperfections may be present

We do our best to describe items accurately and provide clear photos. All sales are final unless otherwise stated below.

2. Final Sale Policy

Unless required by law, all sales are final. This policy applies to all purchases except where prohibited under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act.

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Fit issues
  • Style preferences
  • Minor wear consistent with second-hand items
  • Items purchased using ReLoved Credits

This policy helps keep prices affordable and ensures fairness within our community-based system.

3. When a Refund or Replacement May Apply

A refund, replacement, or store credit may be considered only in the following situations:

  • You received the wrong item
  • The item arrived significantly different from its description
  • The item arrived damaged in transit

To request a review, you must:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos taken at the time of delivery, including packaging where applicable
  • Include a brief explanation

All requests are reviewed individually based on the information provided and applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Delivery Issues

Northern ReLoved is not responsible for:

  • Packages marked as delivered but not received
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
  • Stolen Packages

If a Delivery issue occurs, we will assist where possible; however, refunds are not guaranteed. Packages will only be left at the door if the customer requests it at order processing stage.

5. ReLoved Credits & Returns

  • Purchases made with ReLoved Credits are final
  • Credits cannot be refunded or converted to cash
  • Credits used on a purchase are not reissued unless a return is approved under Section 3

6. Refusal of Returns

Northern ReLoved reserves the right to refuse return or refund requests that:

  • Fall outside the timelines or conditions listed above
  • Involve misuse or abuse of the return process
  • Conflict with our Terms & Conditions or ReLoved Credits Policy

7. Ontario Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under Ontario consumer protection laws. Where applicable, statutory rights will apply.
